About Café Provence

The Restaurant’s Chef owner Robert Barral is originally from the Languedoc area of France.
Chef Robert’s culinary path has landed him in key positions at some of the finest restaurants in the world, and when he was offered a position at the New England Culinary Institute as their Executive Chef, he decided to make the move to the Green Mountains. Dedicated not only to presenting the freshest food in a creative and engaging way, Chef Robert is also a great teacher. He takes that passion for sharing what he knows and applies it every day at the restaurant. Every week, Chef offers cooking classes that explore the classic french techniques used to make many of the restaurant’s entrées and desserts.
